‘She Has Very High Demands’ – Faithia Williams Shares Experience Of Working With Funke Akindele
Nollywood actress, Williams, says working with her colleague, Funke Akindele, on the new movie ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ was a unique experience, and she enjoyed it.
World Wide Gist reports Faithia made this known during an interview with Legit.
According to the movie star, Funke has very high demand, nevertheless, she is comfortable working with her.
She said, “This isn’t my first time working with Funke Akindele; I have been working with her since like forever. Working with her was comfortable; I know she has very high demands, and her directing me was like my sister directing me. It was easy for me to communicate with her because she understands your limitations and how to go about it. So, no problem at all working with her.”
Speaking about the movie, Faithia Williams said, ‘A Tribe Called Judah,’ attempts to correct prominent notions about single mothers and raising good children.
She said: “A Tribe Called Judah is a fight for women, especially single women. It is an attempt to correct the prominent notion about single women/single mothers. The movie intends to tell a story that single mothers can raise good children who will go on to achieve great things in life. In society, single women are not respected, so Funke is trying to tell people that single women are human beings.”

‘I’m world’s best actress’ – Toyin Abraham boasts
Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham has boasted that she is the world’s “best”.
Speaking in an interview with skit maker, Bae U Barbi, she explained that the title wasn’t a self-proclaimed one, stressing that fans gave her the title.
She said the title of “world best” suits her because her acting and beauty are top-notch.
Abraham said, “I didn’t call myself [the world’s best actress], people called me word best because I am the world’s best.
“My confidence is top-notch, my beauty is top-notch, my brain is top-notch, my acting is top-notch. So, I am world best. I didn’t call myself, they [fans] called me and I claimed it.”
The actress also admitted during the interview that the entertainment industry favours women more than men.
According to her, female entertainers are more successful than their male counterparts because they are “very emotional”.
She added that her latest film, ‘Malaika’ is her most expensive movie, saying she paid veteran actor, Emeka Ike and others millions to feature in the movie.
