Popular Filmmaker, Nkosi Nathi Heartbroken As DNA Test Shows He Is Not The Biological Father Of Wife’s Newborn Baby

Popular South African film director, Nkosi Nathi, has expressed frustration after a DNA test revealed that he is not the biological father of his wife’s newborn daughter.

World wide gist reports that the filmmaker shared his ordeal in a post via his Instagram page on Monday, stating that the incident had left him traumatized.

Nkosi said he received the news of becoming a father nine months ago and has doted on the baby girl since birth.

However, an incident compelled them to conduct a DNA test, and the result was negative.

Nkosi said he shared his story to encourage other men to conduct a DNA test.

He said, “Today was meant to celebrate my first Father’s Day. I’m shattered beyond words. Nine months ago, I was introduced to the news that I would be a father. I are for my unborn child and she became my world. I spent some time with her and it was a life changing experience.

“She was born on May 20 a day before my birthday. After some incident, her mother and I agreed to do a DNA test. The result came back negative, I am not her father. I am making this post to encourage other brothers out there: With all that happened, I still want to be a part of the better and responsible generation of men.

“Let me not let the situation get ahead of us. We have a lot of life to live. The support from my family has been insane. One thing about me, I know how to choose my friends. I am traumatized but stable, on the healing journey and taking care of my mental health. Some really dope projects are coming up, I can’t wait to share them with you. The work does not stop, I will continue to be…”

Video: My Relationship With Don Jazzy – Korede Bello Opens Up

Popular Nigerian musician, Korede Bello has opened up on his relationship with his former record label boss, Don Jazzy.

The singer stated that he still has a strong relationship with the Mavin Record label Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

He disclosed this during a recent interview on TVC’s “Your View Pidgin.”

When the ‘Godwin’ crooner was asked about his relationship with Don Jazzy after leaving Mavin Records and pursuing a solo career, he responded, “When you go into a relationship, it’s best to go into that relationship with a person who would never be nasty on bad days. The quality of people you go into relationships with matters. I’m not a troublesome person, neither is Don Jazzy, so when our contractual agreement ended, we still had our relationship intact.”

Bello emphasized the importance of balance and understanding one’s journey, stating that although he is no longer officially with Don Jazzy, they will always be family.

While on the show, the singer received numerous compliments from fans across the country, who praised his new album, “KoreDay.”

Many viewers expressed how they resonate with every song on the album and how much they loved it.

When asked if he plans to diversify and pursue projects outside of music, Bello shared that he currently has a perfume line, creating niche fragrances for everyone.

He also disclosed that he plans on entering the wellness space and helping people achieve physical and mental wellness through affordable products.

Afrobeats Artistes Now On Same Level With Drake – Davido

Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has asserted that Afrobeats singers are now on the same level as international music giants like Drake.

World wide gist reports that Davido made this known while speaking at a panel discussion with the United States Advisory Council on Africa Diaspora Engagement and Leaders in Nigeria’s Creative Industries.

Davido emphasised that Afrobeats artistes are now selling out shows and generating enormous revenue, comparable to their pop and hip-hop counterparts.

He said: “Afrobeats artists are now selling the same tickets as Drake. One song as an Afrobeats artiste can change your generation.”

According to the ‘Unavailable’ crooner, the earnings from an Afrobeats single can translate to generational wealth, highlighting the significant impact of the genre’s global surge in popularity.

Davido encouraged young artistes to focus on collaborating with their peers rather than chasing international features.

He said, “When you collaborate with your friends, they put their all.”

Meanwhile, veteran fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, better known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has ordered Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane, to end his ongoing fight with Davido.

Naija News recalls that Dammy Krane had last year taken to social media to call out Davido over alleged debt.

Also, Dammy Krane in a social media post last week accused Davido of having a hand in the death of his late friend, Tagbo, who died on his birthday in 2017.

However, Kwam1, during a live performance in the USA, stepped into the ongoing feud and called for peace between the duo.

Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, has expressed his admiration for his colleague, Rema.

World wide gist reports that Odumodublvck, in a post via his X handle, revealed that despite being six years older than Rema, he always likes to listen attentively whenever the singer speaks.

According to the singer, Rema gives him advice that nobody has ever given to him, including his parents.
